Greetings and thank you for taking a moment to learn a little bit about me. I grew up in a suburb north of Chicago, after college I moved to Aspen Colorado for a job that I thought would be for just the winter, then in the blink of an eye I lived in Aspen for thirty years. In the spring of 2015 I decided it was time to return to my midwestern roots. I chose Milwaukee after considering all my options given its proximity to the inland lakes (I love to race sailboats) and to be close to my friends who still live in the Chicago area. Shortly after settling in to my new home in Wauwatosa I met a beautiful woman who is now my wife. In February of 2018 my wife informed me that she was offered a position as a Nurse Case Manager for Hope Hospice in Medford Wisconsin and that she would like us to make the move.  It has been one of her lifelong goals to move to and live in the Northwoods and like all good husbands who love their wife, I said yes with enthusiasm, so here I am.

I am thrilled to be working as a Realtor at EXIT Greater Realty, the tools EXIT Realty provides to its agents and our customers/clients looking to buy or sell a home are second to none.

If I were to try to explain one common thread throughout my professional career it would be that I have always worked in a face to face relationship with my customer/client. I have always enjoyed having a personal connection with the customer, and I always strive to exceed their expectations, I have a people pleaser personality. I bring a lot of hard-learned wisdom to every transaction to help my clients have a smooth and organized experience, my goal is to see my client through their transaction as effortlessly as possible, part of that job is anticipating and positioning things to avoid pitfalls or hiccups.  I am constantly focused on my clients needs and details so we arrive at closing with the best possible outcome. I have also learned that it’s not what I say about myself that is important, it’s what my past customers/clients say about their experience working with me.  So I would encourage you to Google me (Bill Wallen, Realtor at EXIT Greater Realty) and read my Google Business Page reviews, it is my hope that one day your review will be among all the others to help others trust that I am the best at what I do in my area. When not actively working with a client, I enjoy dinner parties with family & friends and afterwards sitting around the fire pit with a cocktail. My favorite activities are golf, tennis, downhill snow skiing, boating, bird hunting, traveling, investing in real estate and managing my stock market portfolio.
